NaNoWriMo 2006: 20,000 words. I am 25% of the Way There!

All Right! I finally made it to 20,000 words. This is the most I have ever written on any one project. I am feeling good about this story. I do feel that it is going to need some major rewrites, but that is ok. All I want to do right now is to get the basic story on paper. I can fix the problems later.
I do think that I need to finish outlining the book. This way I know where I am going. Right now I feel like I am shooting blind. Maybe I will take some time to finish a basic outline this weekend.
I believe I will have some extra time on Monday and Tuesday. I want to get the bulk of the next 10,000 words written on those two days.
