When Should I Start Planning for Christmas
Christmas has turned in to something that I think about all year long. Most of the time is keeping sales throughout the year in mind for Christmas. Are there things that I can give to family or friends as gifts at Christmas time? When I see sales, I think about birthdays and Christmas. If I buy something for Christmas it goes into the back of the closet and is stored till December.
As for Decorations, it all depends on how much you have to put out. For most people, Thanksgiving is a great time to put out decorations. The whole family is home and can contribute to the look and the feel of the house. When the collection of Christmas Decorations gets to a certain size… It would behoove one to start planning a little earlier.
Things that can be done before Thanksgiving include:
- Getting all the Decorations out of the attic or storage.
- Checking all the Lights and making sure that they all work.
- Picking up any replacement or additional decorations.
- Plan for your electrical needs. (more decorations mean more power)
Plan ahead for Christmas and you won’t be frazzled when everyone else around you start putting their decorations up.
