Don’t Watch TV for One Whole Month Before You Die
TV is a great time waster.Yes, that is what I said. Television is an extreme waste of time. OK I know, I watch a lot of TV. Sometimes I don’t mind wasting time. Do you realize, though, that there are so many productive things that you could be doing instead of watching TV. You could be blogging like me. You could be spending time with your family. You could be cleaning the house and so much more.
You can get more exercise. Because you are not watching TV, you should be doing other things that may burs some calories. This means you could loose some weight or tone those muscles. You could be reading a book, but that only strengthens you brain muscle. TV is kind of a no-brianer. You really don’t have to think to watch it. All the information is given to you.
You can spend quality time with your family. There are a lot of people who say that watching TV is good quality time with your family. How can staring at a picture box without saying anything to each other be a great way to spend time together. Take your family out to do something. It is a great idea to go to the park or the bowling alley, or just to the mall or out to eat. Get to know each other better. Find out what each of you are good at. Then build upon it.
You won’t snack as much. Most people snack in front of the TV. This is a great way to gain weight, and since you are not exercising when you are watching TV, there is nowhere those extra calories can go.
You will keep a cleaner house. Now you won’t have an excuse not to clean. There is not a show that you really wanted to watch. You will be able to pick up after yourself instead of getting lazy in front of the TV. The TV is a great way to unwind. But once you are unwound, it is hard to get back up and get house chores done.
You will become more productive. Over all, you will get more done. You may even be able to find new ways to make money. If you can do that, you will be able to get out of debt and TV will no longer be a way to get away from reality.
