Day 011: Howl of Grief

A deafening roar came from deep inside Athvor. He raised his head and bellowed his grief. The creatures who were still fighting the battle and trying to breach his fire circle jumped in surprise from such a loud sound. He held his friend in his arms while his fire circle began to fail around him.

His cry caught them off guard. They were not sure what to do about this. The dragon that they were trying to destroy was screaming. It wasn’t long before they came to their senses and started to get through the wall of fire once more. Their efforts greatly increased as they noticed id dying down in spots.

Athvor’s greif filled howl was long and released great emotion into the world. When he ceased, he soon noticed several creatures getting through his defenses. He took immediate action. He breathed in deep and let out one long stream of flaming fluid at the creatures. The stream must have been nearly one hundred yards long. He turned his head taking out everything in its path. He didn’t care what was there. These creatures had just murdered the only living thing he cared about. Hundreds of evil creatures and several Steel children went up in flames, incinerated in moments.

Seeing the damage he had done, he clenched the body of his life long friend and pounced into the air. Within moments he was hundreds of feet above the battle. He got away nearly unscathed except for a few arrows that made their target through his wings. This time they didn’t even faze him. He barely even noticed.
