Day 019: Sleep
Together these two dragons worked side by side taking care of the dead. The work took them several days and went on without a break. When they did bury the last of the STEEL children, they both walked to the center of the largest crater and collapsed. Exhausted they both slept extremely hard. Neither one of them had any sense of time.
36 hours later they woke to the wonderful sounds of birds singing. That was something that had not been in that area in days. In fact there was life everywhere around them. Taking care of the dead and all the evil that was covering the entire area seemed to have invited back the creatures that had once lived in the area. There was even new sprouts of grass pushing through the ashes on the base of the crater.
Sitting up Athvor looked around. It was a refreshing sight. Life was strong and would overtake any adversity.
“This good” Eeno said. Athvor looked at him for the first time in several days. He nodded then stood up on all four. He stretched and started walking. “Where we going?”
“That way.” Athvor pointed with his eyes. “The army of evil retreated in that direction. I am going to find who did this to Junis and destroy him”
