Day 20: Revenge or No Revenge
“Hmmm.” Grunted Eeno.
“What”
“You be no better than him if you kill in anger…. Vengeance is bad.”
“Hmph” Athvor snarled not liking the truth he was being told. It is not something that is easily accepted. When one is angry and wants to act on that anger, that one does not like to hear that acting on that anger is wrong. He wants support; and edification that what he is about to do is the right thing to do, even if it is not.
Eeno caught up with him. He was going to stay with his new friend whether he was going to do something stupid or not. He was going to be a good friend. He was going to be the one who will be sitting next to Athvor in the dungeon of some castle because he had been caught trying to kill some innocent beastie.
“Why must you take revenge?” Eeno asked as her caught up with his friend. “Junis died doing job. He was warrior. Warriors die in combat. They cant help it.”
“I know. I just don’t want his death to be for naught.” He glanced down at Eeno as he continued to walk.
“He not die in vain. He stand up for all STEEL children. He a hero.”
