Day 032.3: Nynn’s Joke
Eeno and Nynn smiled when they say Athvor flying back with dinner in his grasp. He looked as if he was struggling with the weight of the animal. The real reason that he was pumping really hard was more the fact that with the carcass on board, he was no longer aerodynamic and had to fight to stay in the air the rest of the way back to the village. He would not have bothered flying with his dinner if the meal was just for him. He would have had his fill and whatever was left he would have offered to the scavengers who were waiting a safe distance from his meal.
It didn’t take long for him to land. He just kind of dropped their dinner at the center of the square and pumped his wings two more time before letting his feet touch the ground. His wings folded once again and he stretched his neck as the others came over to find out how the hunting went.
“So where’s your dinner?” Nynn walked up to the carcass, looking at the thick muscled of the hind legs, her mouth starting to salivate.
The dragons both chuckled at this remark. She had definitely become comfortable with her new companions. It would not be long before she would feel like part of the family. A strange family, but a family non the less.
