Day 036: Speed Up STEEL
“We need to find a way to speed up the process; a way to grow the STEEL in a way that will bring Junis back to life.”
“Got Question” Eeno spoke up for the first time about the subject. “Junis buried already. How we fix STEEL to grow?”
Athvor thought on this point. It weighed in the back of his mind, but he had not really thought on the subject at all. After a couple of moments, he spoke these thoughts, “It will only matter if we can find a way to stimulate the STEEL and make it bring him back to life. If we can’t find a way, then there is no reason to dig him out of his resting place.”
“What if…” Nynn couldn’t wait any more. She grabbed a big chunk of meat and ripped it from the bone of the animal carcass. The heat singed her hand slightly and her tounge would have to grow back a few taste-buds, but she savored the flavor of freshly cooked meat. She spoke again with her mouth full, fighting to keep her thoughts strait through the overwhelming emotion of hunger being satisfied. “Junis doesn’t have his STEEL any more?”
“What do you mean?”
“You said that he kind of passed the STEEL on to you when he knew that he was going to die. What if he gave it all to you? There may be nothing to grow.”
