Day 052: The Growth
He didn’t think anything of it at first, but the sensations that came with changes were rather significant. It was almost painful, but felt good like he had been working out hard for several hours. It was like his body was building something good for him. It started off as a budge in his forearm, almost like he had a broken arm and the bone stuck out unnaturally. That was not the case though. Instead a small hole opened near his wrist pointing towards his hand. Small blades grew out one either side of the new growth.
Croom closed his fist and brought it to his face. He looked down the hole as an energy built at the end of it. A small ball of light began to build in front of the hole right above his hand. He pointed at a grouping of rocks a few yards away. The ball of light continued to get brighter before it let loose, screaming at the target. Within moments the stones exploded into powder sending a shockwave through the already destroyed village. Croom smiled as he looked at his new weapon.
This was good. This is just what he needed to go after that dragon and get what was rightfully his to begin with. He was going to get it and there was nothing or no one who could get in his way. He looked up into the sky. It took a few minutes, but he was able to find the speck that seemed to be flapping his wings. He started walking in the same direction. He smiled. This was going to be interesting.
