I can’t believe Michael Jackson is Dead!

I was at home, picking up the house a bit while I waited for the oven to warm up so I could cook dinner. I heard the garage door open and listened as my significant got out of the car and came inside, she looked at me and asked, “Why are you not watching the news?”

“Why,” I asked. “Should I be?”

“Michael Jackson’s dead.”

All I could think was , “WHAT!” I didn’t believe her at first. I thought she was pulling my chain. I thought she was just playing a joke on me. When I turned on the news though, there it was. Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital while they performed CPR on him. They still have not given me a reason to what caused his death. They think it was from the multitude of medications he was taking. They are supposed to do an autopsy later today.

I remember watching Michael Jackson as a kid. Like so many people, I remember the Album, “Thriller.” I remember feeling chills shiver up my spine as I listened to the title track of this amazing work of art. I remember certain female family members spend hours teaching themselves how to dance the Thriller.

I can’t believe is gone. He is going to be missed.
