One way to Combat the High Gas Prices
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008| Gas has gotten rather high. It has rissen so much so that I quit my job that was paying well 40 miles away from home and found 2 jobs that are less than 10 miles from home but don’t pay as well. I have cut my Gas Usage to a third of what I was using.
Now I trying to come up with other ideas to save money on gas. I am looking at buying a Moped or a Scooter. They would save gas but would tak more time to get to work, not to mention the danger of motorists not seeing me and running me over. Another mode of transportation that I have been thinking about is an e-bike. This option would make my gas usage nearly non existant, but I am not sure it would make the round trip to work and back. Guess I could get more exercise peddling. Either option is going to cost between $1000-4000. If I get the Moped, I will have to get a license to drive it on public roads. Now I am waying the pros and cons. What do you think I should do? |
