Say ‘Thank You’ To Our Troops

Monday, November 5th, 2007

Whether you agree or not, this is a great way to say Thank you.

Something great that Xerox is doing!

If you go to this web site,  http://www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.

Tired of Ebooks that Don’t Give You the Info Without a Price? This One Is FREE!

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

I’ve spent a lot of time and a little bit of money looking for an eBook that has real information about making real money online. The only problem is that most eBooks give you little information and try to get you to buy something bigger. Something that only really benefits the creator of that eBook. You may have resale rights to that book, but the profits that you make on these resold eBooks are measly. They sometimes don’t even cover the cost of the eBook. The real money that is made is going to the creator who is making money from the links that are in the eBook.

After reading many eBooks and emails that claim to have the perfect information I came across this intriguing eBook. Not only did it offer real information about how to make money, it offered it for FREE and promised an amazing realization in the last chapter.

This eBook Gives you everything you need to know to earn money online without spending a dime. The website where you download the eBook doesn’t even ask for your email address or any other personal information. You heard me right. You are able to download this eBook in PDF format without providing any information to me or to the creator of this eBook. The eBook is chock full of great information about how you can earn money online, how to start your own online business and how to be successful at it.

As you read the information, you will learn the tricks that internet marketers use to make large sums of money. The cool thing is you get this information for FREE. Then, in the last chapter you get the most amazing tool I have ever seen. Please read the book from front to back. The information builds upon itself. You will want to know all the information in Chapters 1-4 before you read chapter 5. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Shopping Online With Coupons Can Save You A Lot of Money.

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

I am a big believer in using coupons when I can on items that I need. I am one of those people who gets up to go out on Sunday to buy a newspaper, just for the advertisements and coupons that I know that I will find inside.

I have recently found a website that has a massive number of coupons. They make these coupons available online. There is no need to purchase a newspaper, or to own a pair of scissors to cut out the coupons. All you have to do is find the store you want to shop in, look for the deal that best suits what you are looking for and use it.

An example is when I went to Circuit City and found a new printer that I needed. I clicked on the save 40% on electronics button and when I went to the checkout screen, there it was… my 40% savings.

This website is extremely valuable, especially for people who do a lot of their shopping from home. You don’t have to sign up for anything, the savings are right there in front of your eyes. Check it out. You will be surprised.

Who Knew that Keeping Track of Your Calories Was So Easy

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

I work late 4 days a week. I have a job that starts at about 5:00pm and ends usually between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. I have learned that if I don’t take enough food with me to work, I end up spending whatever money I have on me on snacks from the vending machine or driving down to the 24 hour gas station and paying for high priced snack items that are full of horrible, horrible things, like salt and saturated fat and all kinds of preservatives.

After a while I learned that if I brought enough food to snack on I can usually make it through the night without purchasing a thing. This of course led to me eating Raman noodles which have massive amounts of sodium. Popcorn is another big culprit. It is actually fairly good for you if you don’t buy the really buttered down stuff (of course that is the only kind I buy). I eventually realized that a small Ziploc bag of cereal works well as a hunger deterrent. So does crackers.

Eating all of this stuff can cause a nasty side effect. The disease known to many as the Dunlop Disease (Hey, my belly Dun Lopped over my belt - get it - its funny - really it is - I thought it was - oh well). So I guess the next step to this little feat of trying to figure out my hunger/purchasing problems at work is to find products that are good for me, low in calories, but will sustain me for 10 hours while at work late at night staring at a computer screen.

I found this website today that has a way to count your calories. They call it the food calorie counter. It helps you keep track of all the food that you take in everyday. They not only have information on the foods that you cook at home, but they have the calories for the foods that come from your favorite restaurants (of course you don’t eat at those greasy, fat filled fast food joints that are a staple in today’s society. I know I do —- I mean don’t).

Knowing your calorie intake is very important when trying to control your weight. It is even more important when you are trying to loose weight. This little machine takes into account what you ate, the size of the portion that you ate and keeps a running tally of everything you have eaten that day, week, month or whatever time period you specify. It will also give you a rundown of the sodium, protein, fat and a number of other things that you have consumed. Go ahead. Check out this food calorie counter and see what it can do for you.

Sometimes You Just Need a Calling Card

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

I had a friend give birth a few weeks ago to a beautiful baby boy. They were so excited that they wanted to share their news with everyone from their room at the hospital. There was one problem. They were not allowed to use their cell phones inside the hospital. There was a posted rule about not using cell phones because it interferes with some of the equipment. Even if they broke the rules and tried to use their cells, the reception inside the hospital was so bad they could not make a connection.

Within a day her husband had gone out and bought a calling card. This was the easiest way for them to get in touch with everyone from the hospital room. They could not call their family from the phone that was in the room because most of their family lived in other states and the hospital would have charged outrageous sums of money to their hospital bill. The calling card allowed them to call their family from the phone in their room without the crazy high charges.

I came a cross a calling card provider this week that has some of the best deals on the internet for cheap phone cards. They are not like other calling cards. They offer you FREE $5 worth of minutes when you sign up or you could get 4 hours of free International calls just for signing up for Pingo. They also let you save up to 90% on International calls, and if you want to earn a little extra cash, their affiliate program pays you $15 for every person you refer (who signs up).

These calling cards are important to have. If your cell phone dies and you happen to be stranded somewhere, you will need a way to make a phone call. If you are like me, you don’t carry a lot of cash with you, if any at all. A phone card is something that can be invaluable. Look into it. Just have a $5 card in your wallet (which a Pingo will give to you just for signing up) could save you a lot of frustration down the road and maybe could even save your life. Take a moment and check out what Pingo has to offer.

I Hate When My Throat Gets Sore

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

I am rather new to the cold winter air. I moved from Sunny South Florida last year where the air is always warm and the humidity level is always in the 90%’s. I am happy that I moved here. Now I get to see what seasons really are like. In

South Florida it got cool about 1 month out of the year. Now it is only warm 4 months out of the year.

Last winter I was in for a surprise. The weather turned cold. I was ready though. I had bought several heavy jackets and the new house had a nice new gas powered heater. The only thing that I was not ready for was how dry the air gets in these winter conditions.

It began with just chapped lips. OK, that is a small thing. I just went out and bought chapstick. Then came the dry mouth. I figured that being winter, I would not sweat away all the precious water that my body needs. Little did I know that I would be drinking just as much water in the winter time because the air sucks it all out of my breath.

Because of the dry air, my throat was constantly dry. Then my body would compensate causing mucus to drain down the back of my throat. I know, a little more than you really wanted to know. Then the drainage caused my throat to become raw and infected. By the middle of the winter, I had a full blown tonsil infection that was not going to go away by itself.

I did all the normal things. I took Echinacea and drank more orange juice than Florida could provide. It took a trip to the doctor and a heavy dose of antibiotics to make the infection go away.

I knew that there was a chance of having this happen again so I looked for all the information I could find on how to battle the dry air in winter time.  I found this website that told me all the ugly things that dry air will do to a person. I knew that I had most of the symptoms. I had to find out what I could do to battle these symptoms.

I began to realize that I didn’t have to live in extremely dry conditions, at least not in my home. I could invest in a humidifier that will put precious moisture back into the air.  After a little more research, I decided on a Humidifier and the rest of the winter I lived with clear lungs, a healthy throat and an enjoyment of the brisk winter that I moved up here for.

If you have the same kind of trouble with dry skin, sinus headaches and sore throats, you should do a little research and find all the information that you need to make sure the air in your home is full of life giving moisture.
